Mare Articum Publications

From its genesis in 1995 as a cooperative platform for the development of regional artistic and cultural exchanges to its emergence in 2009 as an institutional player in its own right, the MARE ARTICUM Foundation has served as a locus both of curatorial expertise and of organizational excellence in the promotion of Contemporary Visual Art to an ever-widening audience.

Mare Articum art events enabling exchanges of ideas and information on topics relevant to each exhibition’s curatorial theme, also through Catalogues documenting featured artists and their works published in conjunction with each event.

MARE ARTICUM Magazine (released semi-annually within 1997-2003), a bilingual (Polish/English) journal that addressed the dominant themes and leading trends in Contemporary Art including Beauty, Utopia, Autonomy of Art?, Art and Politics, Globalization, New Art of St. Petersburg.
