An exhibition realized within the program of Baltic/Balkans project. Regardless of the differing aspects of their regional debates, the both regions share the experience of peripherality as a result of being located “east of the West and west of the East.” Following the Second World War, this dichotomous picture of Europe, with a dividing line running between the Baltic and the Balkans, acquired a new stigma – the experience of communism and stormy transition processes, which affected the majority of the Balkan and East Baltic Nations.
